Pierre Puget

Chief Technology
Officer, Co-founder

Pierre Puget was graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, France and received a PhD from INP- Grenoble. He worked at CEA-LETI in different technical, managerial and business development positions in the field of miniaturized analytical systems for biology and chemistry. Since 2009, he managed the development of a system for gas mixtures analysis based on micro/nano-technologies from CEA-LETI and Caltech.

Eric Colinet

Chief Product Development
Officer, Co-founder

Eric Colinet was graduated from INSA-Lyon France and received a PhD from SUPELEC PARIS and a HDR from INP- GRENOBLE. From 2005-2010, he worked at CEA-LETI in the field of control theory, signal processing and IC design for NEMS application. From 2010 and 2012, he was a visiting scientist at Caltech in Michael Roukes group where he worked on NEMS array for gas sensing application.

Company history

Founded in 2014, after 8 years of collaboration between CEA and Caltech, APIX is focused on the development of highly miniaturized multigas analyzers systems based on integration on silicon of traditional analytical chains: sampling, injection of gases, separation of complex gas mixtures to enhance specificity and then detection, identification and quantification of each mixture compound.

Founded in 2014, after 8 years of collaboration between CEA and Caltech, APIX is focused on the development of highly miniaturized multigas analyzers systems based on integration on silicon of traditional analytical chains: sampling, injection of gases, separation of complex gas mixtures to enhance specificity and then detection, identification and quantification of each mixture compound.

Today, Apix has offices in 2 countries and employs about 20
people. Its main offices are located in Grenoble, a city known for
its technological cluster, in the heart of the french alps.
